It was intended to establish <strong>a more agile and flexible financing instrument to complement bilateral cooperation efforts. The Foundation &#8220;Sahel Facility&#8221; finances its work through grants from various donors among the Sahel Alliance members.<\/strong><\/p>\n<\/div><\/div>\n\n\n\n<div style=\"height:20px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div>\n\n\n\n<p>Decisions on financing by the Sahel Facility are made through calls for proposals.
